1. About Us

Boiler Plumbing Cover Experts (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates as a management and administration company, arranging commercial plumbing and heating cover for business clients. We act as intermediaries, coordinating work through our network of Gas Safe–registered engineers and approved, insured contractors. We do not directly employ engineers, but we ensure all contractors meet our strict service and safety standards.

2. Cover Overview

Our Commercial Cover Plans are designed to protect your business property’s boiler, central heating, plumbing, and drainage systems. We handle all administration, booking, and coordination of engineers, ensuring your business receives prompt, professional support when you need it.

3. Contract Duration

• Your Commercial Cover is a 12-month fixed-term agreement.
• The cover will automatically renew at the end of each 12-month period unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days before the renewal date.
• Early termination within the 12-month period may result in payment of the remaining balance for the contract term.

4. Waiting Period

• A 60-day waiting period applies from your cover start date before your first claim can be made.
• No claims for breakdowns, leaks, or faults can be accepted during this period.
• This clause ensures pre-existing faults are not covered.

5. What’s Included

Depending on the plan selected, your cover may include:

• Annual commercial boiler service and Gas Safety certification (CP15)
• Boiler and central heating breakdown cover
• Plumbing and drainage repairs for internal pipework, leaks, blockages, and fittings
• Priority emergency response for heating or plumbing failures that affect business operations
• Routine maintenance checks to identify leaks, loose taps, or potential issues early
• Unlimited call-outs subject to fair use

6. What’s Not Included

• Any fault or issue present before cover started or during the 60-day waiting period
• Boilers or systems deemed beyond economical repair or over 15 years old (unless agreed in writing)
• Accidental damage, neglect, misuse, or third-party interference
• Structural or electrical repairs not related to heating or plumbing
• Work not authorised by Boiler Plumbing Cover Experts prior to commencement
• Frozen pipes, roof tanks, guttering, or systems outside the main property boundary (unless specified in your plan)

7. Payments and Cancellations

• Payments are collected monthly or annually through Stripe or another approved payment provider.
• The agreement lasts for 12 months from the start date.
• Cancellations made before the end of the contract term may incur a charge for the remaining balance.
• Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of cover.
• Refunds are not provided for any unused portion of the contract once cover has commenced.

8. Service and Response

• Emergency jobs are prioritised; response times depend on engineer availability and property location.
• Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the property for engineers to complete works.
• Missed or refused appointments may result in a rebooking fee being applied.

9. Liability

• Boiler Plumbing Cover Experts acts solely as an intermediary, arranging works through vetted and insured contractors.
• We are not directly responsible for the workmanship, delays, or damages caused by third-party engineers.
• All engineers working through us hold public liability insurance.
• Any service-related issues will be managed promptly through our customer resolution process to ensure a fair and satisfactory outcome.

10. Fair Use Policy

• While call-outs are unlimited, they are subject to reasonable and fair use.
• Excessive or repeated non-essential call-outs may result in review or suspension of cover.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
